I've been seeing this story online about Game ripping Orlando for filing the restraining order:
Game Rips Orlando Scandrick for Filing a Restraining Order Against Draya Michele
Game wasn't the only person blasting Scandrick for filing paperwork against his ex-fiance. Yesterday morning on Boom 107.9 Monie Love also trashed Orlando for the same reason.
I'm a little confused as to why. If Scandrick had done a Ray Rice on Draya, then he'd be wrong. I'm so sick of the double standard. Women want equal rights until it's not beneficial to them. The same way Ray Rice became the poster boy for what you're not supposed to do; Sandrick should be our example of what you ARE supposed to do. If he let her abuse him, (because that's what it is) until he lost his cool, then he'd go to jail. The media would make him out to be the worst person in the entire would and his image would be completely tarnished. I think he did the right thing.
It doesn't matter though, because now he's saying this:
“I just try to work everyday and just take one day at a time. You can’t believe everything you read. You can’t believe everything you hear.”
This is why women get to screw men over. If Scandrick didn't file the restraining order, he should have. I don't care how big he is, or how small she is. I don't care how cute she is, or how ridiculous other celebrities may think it is. She is obviously mentally unstable, and has violent tendencies. She needs to stay away from him, not because she can hurt him, but because she will continue to bate him into a domestic dispute that can end in violence. He had every right to file the order, and have her evicted from his house. Doing so doesn't make him less of a man, it makes him more of one.
